Albacore (THUNNUS ALALUNGA)
The Albacore is a tuna species, found in all tropical and temperate seas, including the Mediterranean. Its body is long, cylindrical in shape and robust. Its pectoral fins are long and can reach 30% of its body length.
It reaches a length up to 140 cm and weights up to 30 kg.
